Who we are?

Orana is a community organisation, neighbourhood centres and registered charity located in Sutherland Shire.

OUR VISION IS FOR:

Is for a vibrant, welcoming and connected community for all. An inclusive community where every person feels safe, valued and supported to live with dignity and purpose. Your space, your community – a place to connect, be heard and belong.

What we do

We run family support services, educational groups, courses, social groups and specific support groups as well as other support services for residents of the Sutherland Shire. Please click on the “What’s on” tab above for the calendar of events, groups and classes.

We also assist all members of the local community with information, referral and advocacy services on a needs basis.

We assist vulnerable members of our community to help themselves.

With a strong focus on supporting those who are financially disadvantaged and socially isolated.

Our funders

With subsidies by the Department Communities and Justice and Sutherland Shire Council, Orana NSW Inc. is a not for profit, charitable incorporated Association with a Board made up of community volunteers. We are continually evaluating the needs of our local community and lobbying local, state and federal governments for new services needed across the Sutherland Shire.
